JAMMU, Feb 3: Chatta Police arrested a man with contraband.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Post Chatta led by PSI Arun Shan under the supervision of SHO Channi Himmat Inspector Deepak Katoch laid a naka and apprehended a man along with 13 quarters of illicit liquor, 9.80 grams of heroin, one cigarette filled with cannabis and one banned syrup bottle.
The arrested person was identified as Subash Chandar, son of Girdhari Lal of Channi Bijja.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Channi Himmat and investigation started.
The arrest and recoveries were made under the supervision of SDPO City East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari.
