JAMMU, July 26: Domana police arrested a man for selling illicit liquor pouches at Marh Chowk.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Domana police station conducted raid at Marh Chowk and apprehended a man, who was selling illicit liquor pouches among the masses.
The arrested person has been identified as Subhash Chander alias Babi, son of Puran Chand of Halwa Thokrian Marh. During search, police recovered 17 pouches of illicit liquor from his possession.
A case under FIR Number 223/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at police station Domana and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Domana Inspector RS Rana made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Domana Verinder Singh and SP Rural Arun Gupta.
