DODA, July 5: Bhalla police arrested a man for running illicit liquor manufacturing unit.
As per police sources, on specific information about running of illicit liquor manufacturing unit, a team from Bhalla police post conducted raid in a house at Tatora.
During raid, police recovered 40 kilograms of lahan and 5 litres of illicit liquor and arrested the house owner, who has been identified as Ramesh Kumar, son of Bodh Raj of Tatora.
A case under FIR Number 76/17 under Section 48-E Excise Act has been registered against the arrested person at Bhaderwah police station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Bhalla police post SI Sunil Parihar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma, Additional SP Bhaderwah Shaazad Salaria and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
