DODA, July 5: A lady was killed after she was hit by a rashly driven scooty at Sanie area, falling under the jurisdiction of Bhalla police post, a police official said.
The deceased has been identified as Thakri Devi (65), wife of Prithvi Raj of Sanie Bhalla.
The body of the deceased has been handed over to family members after completing legal formalities.
A case in this regard has been registered at Bhaderwah police station and hunt has been launched to arrest the scooty rider, who managed to escape from the spot.
