JAMMU, Aug 24: Pounichak police arrested a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Pounichak police post laid a naka and intercepted a person.
During checking, police recovered 60 pouches of illicit liquor pouches from the possession of the man and arrested him.
The accused has been identified as Surinder Kumar, son of Bhagat Ram, a resident of Udheywala.
A case under Excise Act has been registered against the accused at Domana police station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Pounichak police post SI Sumit Magotra made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector Rajeshwar Slathia, SDPO Domana Surinder Sharma and SP Rural Arun Gupta.
