Man arrested for trying to outrage modesty of minor

JAMMU, Sept 24: Nagrota Police arrested a man for trying to outrage modesty of minor girl.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a man with Police Station Nagrota stating that a person identified as Sudesh Kumar, a resident of Kore Jagir entered into his house and tried to outrage modesty of his minor daughter.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR Number 387/2021 under Sections 452 and 354 IPC and 7/8 Prevention of Children from Sexual Offence (POCSO) Act was registered at Police Station Nagrota and hunt was launched to nab the molester.
On specific information, a team from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Mohammad Shoket immediately swung into action and arrested the alleged molester.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
