JAMMU, Mar 30: Bishnah police arrested a man for selling illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bishnah Police Station led by SHO Inspector Deepak Pathania under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan and SP Headquarters Jammu Adil Rashid conducted raid in Chumbian Jattan area and apprehended a person while selling illicit liquor. Police team recovered 15 litres of illicit liquor from the spot.
The arrested person has been identified as Rakesh Kumar, son of Subash Chander, a resident of Gurdaspur, at present Chumbian Jatta, Tehsil Bishnah, District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 56/2020 under relevant sections has been registered at Bishnah Police Station and investigation started.
