JAMMU, Dec 29: A man has been arrested for raping a minor girl in the area falling under the jurisdiction of Pounichak Police Post.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by the family members with Police Post Pounichak stating that their 10-year-old daughter has been raped by a man identified Shanker Dass of Gho Manhasa.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 423/19 under Section 376 IPC was registered at Domana Police Station and the man has been arrested.
The girl has been handed over to family members after conducting medical examination.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
