BHADERWAH, June 2: Police arrested a man along with cannabis from Chinar Mohallah, here today.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bhaderwah police station laid a naka at Chinar Mohallah and apprehended a person along with 300 grams of cannabis.
The accused has been identified as Parvez Ahmed Lone, son of Abdul Razzak Lone, a resident of Doki, tehsil Chiralla, district Doda.
A case under FIR Number 66/17 under Section 8/20 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Bhaderwah police station and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment.
Police team led by SHO Bhaderwah Inspector Jatinder Singh Sambyal made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
