JAMMU, Nov 13: Maulana Azad Memorial College organized an interactive session on “Brainstorming on Start-up Ideas” under the aegis of the Institutions Innovation Council and Mission Yuva.
The event was inaugurated by Principal Prof Archana Koul, who welcomed the guests and encouraged students to explore entrepreneurship as a driving force for innovation and economic growth.
Prof K S Chandrasekar, Vice Chancellor, attended the event as Chief Guest, while Dr Sanjay Bansal, National Board Member, National Traders Welfare Board, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, was the Guest of Honour.
Dr Bansal conducted a detailed session on “Funding Opportunities and Government Schemes for Start-ups,” sharing insights into various initiatives supporting young entrepreneurs.
Students showcased their innovative startup ideas during the session and received constructive feedback from the experts.
Prof Chandrasekar highlighted the vital role of entrepreneurship in nation-building, while Dr Bansal provided practical guidance on converting ideas into viable business ventures.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, as participants expressed appreciation for the valuable learning experience.
