SRINAGAR, May 23: Chairman Legislative Council, Amrit Malhotra today Chaired Rules Committee meeting in his office chamber.
Threadbare discussion was held on the rules and conduct of business. It was informed that the rules discussed in earlier meetings were submitted to the House and accordingly the same were adopted.
The Chairman stressed upon the members to give their valuable suggestion for incorporation in the rules whenever tabled in the house for adoption The committee also discussed the pervious proceedings of the meeting.
The meeting was attended by the legislators Bashir Ahmed Magray, Jehangir Husain Mir, Narboo Gialchan and Mohammad Ashraf Mir besides Secretary Legislative Council M A Mir, Deputy Secretary Mohammad Maqbool Bhat and other officers of the Council Secretariat.
