REASI, June 1: Police today arrested a bootlegger and smashed makeshift liquor still, which was being operated by the accused in his house at Arnas.
Acting on specific information that the accused Onkar Singh of Gari, Tehsil Arnas, was indulged in manufacturing of illicit liquor in his house, a Police party, led by SHO Arnas, Inspector Arvind Sambyal, conducted raid. Police team seized two and half liters Desi liquor along with 20 litres lahan and all material used for preparation of the contraband, from the house.
The accused person was arrested and a case in this connection has been registered under
Section 48-(e) Excise Act at Police Station Arnas.
