Make people aware about Centre’s flagship schemes: Col Mahan

KATHUA, Mar 21: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) is a democratic party which draws power and energy from its party workers and not from any particular family.
This was stated by Col (retd) Mahan Singh, DDC Chairman Kathua during visit to Poonda, Karawada, Kangote, Sabar and Haripur under BJP Polling Booth Contact Abhiyan. He was accompanied by Parduman Singh, Election Parbhari J&K U.T, Tajinder Singh Goldy, Capt (retd) Harnam Singh, Ram Chand Ex BDO, Krishan Sanwal, Parladh Singh and others. DDC Chairman visited pooling booths at each location and met booth level BJP workers and emphasized on strengthening of booths.
Col Mahan Singh said that today lakhs of party workers, consider BJP as their family, are committed to strengthen the party base at grass root level. He said that workers are the backbone of the party and the party cannot move a step forward without the support of ground level workers. He asserted that the responsibility of providing justice to all the regions in Jammu and Kashmir primarily lies on the shoulders of party’s ground level workers as they act as bridge between the people and the Government.
The DDC Chairman also took stock of the party activities and works done by the party cadre towards strengthening of the party base right upto the grass roots level. While highlighting the achievements of the party in Jammu and Kashmir, he appreciated the efforts of party cadre in taking the Central sponsored schemes to the people at grass roots level.
While enumerating the schemes to make the people aware about them, Col Mahan specially made mention of the flagship schemes like Ayushman Bharat, E-Shram Card, Kissan Samman Nidhi, PMAY, old age /widow pension, and many other schemes launched by Modi Government during its short period of rule that is presently running its second term. He asked the party workers to make the people aware about the Modi Government’s flagship schemes and ensure that they avail benefits of the same.
