Make ATM functional at Jagti: PDP

JAMMU, May 28: PDP Migrant Cell has urged the Government to ensure the distribution of ration among migrants in Jagti township and other places during the middle of the month as maximum migrants are deprived of ration due to supply of the same at the fag end of the month.
A delegation of PDP Migrant Cell leaders led by Nana Ji Wattal which visited Jagti township today expressed concern over the plight of displaced people there who are facing problem due to delay in supply of ration.
He said the ration depot opens for two hours that too during the fag end of the month due to which majority of people are deprived of ration.
He also expressed concern over the non -functioning of ATM at Jagti which either remains cash starved or defunct. He urged the JK Bank authorities to make the ATM functional at Jagti.
The other leaders of the Cell included Inder Jee Tak, Bansi Lal Koul, Rakesh Koul, Babloo Ji, R K Tickoo and Anu Koul.
