UDHAMPUR, May 10: A massive fire broke out in Kainth Gali forest area of block Pancheri, here today.
The jungle fire, which broke out around 12 noon, engulfed a number of small trees spread in an area of around one kilometer.
However, a rivulet helped to contain the fire, which got controlled to a great extent by the evening.
Exact loss of wood in the fire could not be ascertained.
