SRINAGAR, May 10: J&K Bank has opened an ATM, Extension Counter and Social Service Centre in District Baramulla.
Dy GOC Brigadier Jatindra Sindhu inaugurated the teller machine at Army Convoy Ground in Baramulla. He also inaugurated Extension Counter of the Bank at military cantonment, Baramulla jointly with the bank’s Zonal Head Kashmir (North) M S Kaboo in presence of military personnel, customers, senior citizens, local traders and Government officials.
Appreciating role of J&K Bank in the socio-economic development of the State, Brigadier Sindhu briefed the participants about the advantages of this hi-tech facility convenient to inhabitants, particularly military personnel of the area.
Meanwhile, Zonal Head also inaugurated Social Service Centre at Amar Shah Complex, Baramulla. Speaking on the occasion, the Zonal Head said that the bank is committed to provide world class services to the people at their doorsteps.
Besides handling of Government business, the Social Service Centre would make civil pension payments, social welfare payments including old age pension and collection of electric fee bills of the people of Baramulla.
