JAMMU, Aug 23: An meeting of All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) was held here today which was presided over by its president Advocate Ravinder Raina while Swami Kumar Ji was guest of honour. The meeting has two objectives one to forge a combined and cohesive conglomerate of different KP organizations espousing the cause of Kashmiri Pandits to come under one umbrella of the oldest frontal and premier organization viz. ASKPC. Second objective of this meeting was to visualize and form an opinion about the on going violence in different parts of Kashmir valley which was of a highly intensified, radicalized extremists religious face and nature as it was backed sponsored funded and aided by Pakistan.
The prominent speakers who took part in deliberations included Swami Kumar Ji (Geeta Satsang). H. N. Jattoo (president AIKPC), Prof A.N.Sadhu (Ex-President KPS Amphalla), Dr Agnishekher convenor Panun Kashmir, Dr. Ajay Chrangoo (Chairman Panun Kashmir) Adv. Kashmiri Lal (Trustee PNBMT), M. K. Yogi president Minority Cell NC, Vinod Pandita president APMCC, Kuldeep Raina president Samajik Vikas Sangathan, Vijay Kashkari of AIKS, Prof. Satish Bhan, C. L. Bhat, Dr. T. K. Bhat and King C Bhart.
The speakers expressed grave concern and indignation over the deteriorating levels the violence in Kashmir valley has reached. They were highly critical of the move by certain section of Kashmiri society eulogizing the terrorists in particular the poster boy of Hizbul Mujahedin Burhan Wani and under this garb attacking security forces, looting police stations and indulging in various form of violence.
The participants vowed to form one opinion and arrive at one decision in matters effecting the community concerns and aspirations as also the long pending demands of punishing the perpetrators of crimes against the exiled K P community, bring to the justice with deterrent punishment the culprits of massacres of Kashmiri Pandits members and numerous other selective killings of Kashmir Pandits.
It was demanded that the cause of exodus and genocide of Kashmiri Pandits be reversed and honourable return and rehabilitation of over seven lac exiled Pandits on its terms and conditions be given priority. It was also resolved that the community will fight under one banner viz, ASKPC for realization of its demands.
It was decided to commemorate Balidan Divas on September 14, under the banner of frontal and premier organization ASKPC.
