JAMMU, Nov 20: Dr Mahital Jamwal and Dr Banarsi Lal were conferred with Young Scientist Award and Best Extensionist Award, respectively, in the two-day national seminar, organized by Royal Association for Science-led Socio-Cultural Advancement (RASSA), New Delhi, in collaboration with Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Jammu (SKUAST-J), here today.
Dr Jamwal is working as Scientist with SKUAST-Jammu at Regional Horticultural Research Station at Bhaderwah and has national and international experience in the field of horticultural crop improvement.
Dr Banarsi Lal is Incharge, Senior Scientist-cum-Head of KVK, Reasi of SKUAST-Jammu and has been awarded for his immense contribution and meritorious achievements in the field of agriculture and allied sectors.
