JAMMU, Dec 26:  The women activists of Congress Party  led by Pradesh Mahila Congress president,  Indu Pawar ( Ex-MLA)  today held a strong protest against Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and some  BJP leaders for their alleged involvement in corruption and taking kick bags here today.
A large number of  Mahila Congress activists assembled at Press Club here in the morning and started shouted slogans against Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and other BJP leaders.
Addressing the party activists, Indu Pawar, Ex-MLA said that credibility of Prime Minister is at the stake. She said the PM should inform and explain to the nation how he had accepted Rs 24 crore and Rs 40 crore from Birla and Sahara Groups as proof provided by Rahul Gandhi.
She said that so-called campaign against corruption launched by BJP was only a farce and fake because most of the BJP leader. She further said that Prime Minister should just tell us whether he had accepted Rs 24 crore and Rs 40 crore from Birla and Sahara, respectively or not because his name figured in documents. The credibility of the Prime  Minister is at the stake.
Launching attack on Prime Minister, Pawar said that Narendra Modi used to say “Na Khaunga, Na Khane Dunga” (neither will eat,  nor will allow other to eat).
She said the country wants answers to these questions if PM Modi  is honest and has not accepted the money, he should come before the country and say that the he has not accepted the money from Birla and Sahara and he is ready to face any probe. An unbiased probe will bring the truth to the fore, she added.
Mahila Congress president further said that corruption of BJP Ministers in J&K has already been exposed it is an open secret that BJP Ministers in the Coalition Government are involved in corrupt practices. She expressed surprise that no action has been taken by BJP leadership against party ministers.
Others who spoke on the occasion included Vandana Makhnotra, Sushma Choudhary, Sunita Rajput and Santosh Sharma.
