JAMMU, Dec 26: The election for the post of Shri Sanatan Dharam Sabha (SSDS) Sopore was held at three polling booths Jammu, Delhi and NCR.
Three candidates were in the fray for the post of President namely Maharaj Krishan, Rajinder Ganjoo and Rattan Lal Pandita.
A total of 669 votes were polled, out of which Maharaj Krishan got 348 votes, Rattan Pandita bagged 123 votes and Rajinder Ganjoo secured 192 votes.
After the results, Maharaj Krishan has been elected as President SSDS Sopore.
