Mahajayanti of Bhagawaan Gopinath celebrated with religious fervor, gaiety

JAMMU, July 24: The 120th Mahajayanti of Jagadguru Bhagawaan Gopinathji was celebrated today at Bhagawaan Gopinathji Ashram, Udaiwala Bhori near here with religious fervor and gaiety.
A large number of devotees thronged the Ashram from early morning to pay obeisance to Bhagawaan Ji.
According to a handout issued by Bhagawaan Gopinath Ji Trust, the Ashram at Bohri is Sidh Peeth for the devotees.  It said the prayers of devotees are answered, their spiritual and mundane subjects get fulfilled.
The function started with Paduka Poojan at 8-30 am by worshiping a symbolic Paduka ( a wodden Kharavoon)  of Bhagawaanji. This was followed by serving of Prashad to hundreds of Sadhus and they were also given Dakshina (cash offerings). The same has been practice during the Bhagawaanji’s life time.
The devotional songs and music followed and continued till late in the evening. The evening Aarti concluded at 7-15 pm. There was an intense activity throughout the day. Thousands of devotees took part in the religious function and they were also served the Prashad. The function passed peacefully.
The 120th Mahajayanti was also celebrated at Ashrams at Kharyar, Srinagar, Kashmir, Greater Kailash-I, Pamposh Enclave New Delhi, Hastsal village, Vikaspuri, New Delhi, Nande Balewadi road, Pune, Maharashtra, Devangondi Hosahalli, White Field Bengaluru.
The Mahajayanti was simultaneously celebrated at Amritsar, Chandigarh, Jallandhar, Jaipur, Kandivilli, Mumbai, Chambur, Mumbai and also at various other Satsang Mandals spread across the country and abroad.
