JAMMU, Dec 19: Senior BJP leader and Incharge All Cells, BJP, J&K, Rakesh Mahajan here today unveiled the short Dogri movie ‘Gharalu Hinsa’ made by Nisha Production Jammu.
The movie was directed and written by Nisha Gupta and it delves into the critical issue of domestic violence.
The movie features powerful performances by Suraj Bhagat and Nisha Gupta in lead roles, with Akhil Arora handling the shoot and editing.
The stunning visuals were captured by photographer Sandy Shotra.
Speaking on the occasion, Rakesh Mahajan stated that domestic violence is a grave issue that continues to plague our society.
The BJP leader also laid stress upon promoting Dogri language, which is a crucial part of Jammu’s rich cultural heritage.
Nisha Gupta, Director and Writer of the film said: “This film is not just a story but is a reflection of harsh realities faced by many.”
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Ved Sharma, Co-incharge All Cells, BJP J&K, Praduman Singh, State Coordinator Returning Office and Anju Dogra, Co-Coordinator Returning Office.
