JAMMU, Aug 28: Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha( JCMS) released an amount of Rs 3,58,500 towards widows pension, medical aids and scholarship to 222 beneficiaries of the community.
Speaking on the occasion, Sabha President Romesh Chander Gupta stressed upon the need to uplift the weaker sections of the society. He urged upon the people of the community to come forward to help the poor and needy section of the society.
Sanjay Mahajan, General Secretary of the Sabha, informed that 15 new beneficiaries were identified for the pension.
Others present on the occasion, included Shiv Partap Gupta, Harinder Gupta, Dr Mohan Lal Gupta, Subash Gupta, C P Gupta, Mukesh Mahajan, Rajesh Chowdhary, Atul Gupta, Surinder Gupta and Balbir Gupta.
