Mahajan Sabha President discusses measures for community welfare

JAMMU, Mar 8: After taking over as President of Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha for the second consecutive term, here today, Romesh Chander Gupta discussed measures for welfare of the community.
Assuring that he would leave no stone unturned to meet expectations of the community, Gupta said that he would try his best to take Mahajan community to more heights and achieve more mile stones on the road of progress.

Gupta specially mentioned that he would even try his best in getting cooperation and assistance of the members who stood against him in the last election, held yesterday.
On this occasion, a large number of members of the Mahajan community, including Chief Patrons, Patrons, office bearers, working committee members, wards delegates and many other dignified personalities from other organizations were present. They all garlanded and paid their respect to Romesh Chander Gupta on his grand success.
The prominent personalities, who were present on the occasion, included Arun Gupta, President Chamber of Commerce and his team, Murari Lal and his team , Amar Chand Gupta, Om Parkash Mahajan (Kakushah), Shiv Pratap Gupta, Om Parkash Gupta, Sanjay Mahajan, Rajesh Choudhary , Dr Mohan Lal Gupta, C P Gupta, Mukesh Mahajan, Yash Paul Gupta, Balbir Gupta, Romesh Gupta (Bartan Wale), Prabhu Dayal Gupta, Surinder Gupta, Vijay Beotra, Satish Gupta, Vijay Gupta, Darshan Gupta, Vinod Lovely, Ashwani Gupta, Subash Gupta and others.
As already reported, Romesh Chander Gupta was declared elected as President of Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha, election of which was held yesterday. He has been elected as President of the Sabha for the second consecutive term and not for the third term, as inadvertently mentioned because of typography error in the news item, published in today’s edition of this newspaper.
