Mahajan Sabha organizes heart health awareness, free check-up camp

JAMMU, Mar 22: Carrying forward its tradition of social service, the Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha (JCMS) organised a free heart check-up camp on Sunday at Justice Mehar Chand Mahajan Charitable Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
The camp was inaugurated by the Sabha President, Romesh Chander Gupta along with other office bearers. Kulbhushan Gupta ( Manu ) and Atul Gupta supervised the camp.
Speaking on the occasion, President Romesh Chander Gupta said that heart-related ailments are increasing rapidly in the present times, making regular health check-ups extremely important. He emphasized that the objective of Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha is to extend healthcare services to every section of society and to raise awareness among people about their health. He also stated that such free camps strengthen the spirit of service and cooperation in society.
Gen Secy Sanjay Mahajan informed that more free health camps shall be organised frequently so that maximum people gets benefitted.
During the camp, Dr Swati Gupta, renowned cardiologist of Fortis Hospital New Delhi examined patients and provided necessary medical advice. More than 100 patients underwent heart health check-ups and received expert consultation. They were also educated about the importance of a healthy lifestyle, balanced diet, and regular exercise.
The office bearers of the Sabha expressed gratitude to all contributors and the medical team for the successful organizing of the camp. They assured that such welfare-oriented programmes would continue to be organised in the future to benefit a larger section of society.
This initiative not only played a significant role in making healthcare services accessible to the masses but also infused a renewed sense of awareness and community spirit among the people.
Shiv Partap Gupta, Sr Vice President; Subash Gupta and Surinder Gupta (Vice Presidents), Yugal Mahajan (Patron of the Sabha) and other members also graced the occasion.
