JAMMU, Oct 24: Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha distributed an amount of Rs 43,150 to the old age ladies, students and other needy persons of the Mahajan community in the shape of financial aid to keep alive the pious mission of comunity development as per the wishes of the Lala Hans Raj Mahajan, founder of the Sabha.
The disbursement was made under the supervision of Vinod Gupta, President of the Sabha. Other members who assisted in the disbursement were Chander Mohan Gupta, general secretary, Bhushan Pargal, office secretary, Sat Paul Gupta, treasurer, Om Parkash Gupta, Rattan Lal Gupta, Yash Pal Gupta, Ved Gupta, Vimal Gupta, Ajay Gupta and Pawan Gupta.
