Mahajan Sabha demands CBI probe into Rassana case

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Apr 21:  The Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha has pleaded for conducting probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) or National Investigation Agency (NIA) into the much publicized  Rassana rape and murder case.
In a meeting of the office bearers of the Sabha held here today under the chairmanship of its president Romesh Chander Gupta, the members strongly condemned the shameful Rassana murder case    of 8-year-old- girl and strongly demanded severest punishment to the persons, who committed this heinous crime. The Sabha at the same time also said that `no innocent’ should be punished for the crime committed by some body else.
Standing with the spirit of Constitution of India  and natural fundamental rights of all the citizens an opportunity must be provided to Rassana people to listen what ever they want to say even CBI inquiry may be conducted as it is not unlawful in any manner. It also criticized those who tried to defame the Jammu people by painting them as pro-rapists. The people of Jammu feel that  it may be deep rooted conspiracy  to create wedge in the society by Huriyat people or some other anti-nationals. Under such circumstances  the Govt of India must order CBI or NIA probe into Rassana case.
