JAMMU, June 8: Rekha Mahajan secretary BJP J&K and Prabhari of the party for Jammu West today said that on the appeal of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and as per the directions of BJP national president JP Nadda and president, BJP J&K UT, Ravinder Raina all BJP leaders and party activists and common masses across the J&K UT, liberally donated to the PM CARES Fund to help in the fight against Corona Pandemic and stressed on strengthening the hands of PM in meeting the requirements of needy population by donating liberally to the PM CARES Fund.
In a meeting here, today, Jammu West BJP district secretary, Balbir Singh secretary handed over the cheque to secretary, BJP J&K and Prabhari Jammu West, Rekha Mahajan in presence of district president Jammu West, Munish Khajuria ,Seh Prabhari, Shailja Gupta, district general secretaries, Advocate Rajesh Gupta and Advocate Karan Sharma. Sanghtan Mantri Mohan Singh Rana, district secretaries Sangeeta Gupta, Balbir Singh, Asha Gupta, Brijesh Gupta, Jatinder Kour and district Social Media secretary, Satyabhushan Dubey were present in the meeting.
Rekha Mahajan complimented the district body for the contribution of more than Rs 30 lakh from Jammu West as the whole world is reeling under the pressure to combat ill effects of COVID-19 pandemic. She said that this contribution means a lot in this valuable time and requested others to follow the same.
She asserted that such contribution will strengthen the effort of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to combat the ill effects of corona Pandemic.
Munish Khajuria also complimented all the donors for liberal funding to the PM CARES Fund on the appeal of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and said that their contribution will strengthen the hands of PM Modi in the fight against Corona Pandemic and appealed that every capable person must contribute according to his or her strength, he added that this contribution means a lot in this valuable time and requested others to follow the same suit.
He assured that Jammu west will continue its effort to generate more funds with increased force so as to further strengthen the efforts of PM Modi led Government in war against Corona.
