ANANTNAG, May 3: A Maha Yagya was performed for the first time after 26 years of turmoil at Ganeshpora Shrine of Lord Ganesh in Pahalgam tehsil of Anantnag district by the PM package employees of Mattan today.
A large number of devotees attended the function and paid their obeisance at the shrine. After the Puranahuti the devotees were offered prashad. The hawan started early in the morning which was followed by Bhajan Kirtan for entire day.
