JAMMU, June 25: Under the community welfare program, a one-day free medical camp was organized today by Magotra Samiti in collaboration with the Ministry of AYUSH/Department of ISM at Chowadi.
The camp, second of its kind was inaugurated by Dr Som Dutt Magotra, president of Magotra Samiti in presence of office bearers of Magotra Baradari–OP Magotra (senior advisor), Bawa Sharma (vice president), Tilak Raj Magotra (secretary), Jagdish Dutta, Satya Paul, Ramesh Magotra, Vijay Magotra who work as executive members.
On the occasion, a team of doctors under the overall supervision of Dr Mohan Singh, Director ISM, Dr Nitin, Dr Nitika, Dr Shifali and Adarsh Sharma examined and distributed free Ayurvedic immunity booster medicines to fight against COVID-19 to some 400 people and police jawans.
Dr Nitin, an expert in Homoeopathy, explained the aims and objectives of the camp with special reference to contain the spread of COVID-19.
Speaking on the occasion, OP Magotra gave an account of social activities carried out by the Samiti to aware the people about the Coronavirus pandemic, its prevention, containment and strict adherence to the Government guidelines.
Magotra saluted doctors, paramedical staff, police and media for rendering selfless service to the people during COVID-19 crisis.
