YCET organizes Faculty Development Programme

JAMMU, June 25: Electrical Engineering Department of Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) in collaboration with Institutions Innovation Council (IIC) today started four days online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Clean and Sustainable Energy”.
The main objective of the event is to provide a unique opportunity to demonstrate the contributions of different engineering and basic science disciplines to the area of energy sustainability in our nation.
The distinguished resource persons are Dr Parveen Kumar Lehna (IIT Bombay), Prof and HoD of Electronics, University of Jammu, Dr A Nazar Ali, Associate Prof, Department of Electrical & Electronics, Rajalakshmi Engineering College Chennai, Dr Yatheshth Anand, Assistant Prof, School of Energy Management, SMVDU and Shafqat Nabi Mughal, HoD Electrical Engineering, SoET, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri who will deliver their lectures on the fields including fuel cell, solar energy, wind energy and solar connected grid system. About 300 faculty members across the country have been registered themselves for the event.
The event was started with welcome address by Er Dinesh Gupta, HoD Electrical Engineering Department. The introductory talk was given by Er Loveneesh Talwar (Coordinator) while Prof ( Dr) A K Srivastava, Director YCET addressed faculty members and resource persons and stressed that these FDPs will help faculty members to move forward and bring lot of changes in their attitudes towards teaching and faculty development.
The YCET management thanked all the resource persons for participating in online faculty development programme.
