JAMMU: In the wake of prevailing political situation, BJP national general secretary and in-charge Jammu and Kashmir Affairs Ram Madhav today reached the winter capital of State and held a closed door meeting with party leaders to deliberate on Government formation.
“Mr Madhav this evening arrived here and had a detailed discussion with the senior party leaders about the prevailing political scenario of the State,” party sources said.
They said the national BJP leader also discussed about party’s relations with its coalition partner Peoples Democratic Party in the meeting.
Mr Madhav’s visit is significant especially when the State is reeling under a political crisis after the demise of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. (AGENCIES)
