Maansi bags Hinditar Bhashi Hindi Lekhak Puraskar

JAMMU, Mar 13: Maansi Sharma, the daughter of the soil has bagged the prestigious Hinditar Bhashi Hindi Lekhak Puraskar for the year 2017 which was announced recently by Central Hindi Directorate, Union Ministry of Human Resource Development.
The award has been given to Maansi for her literary work “Lout Kar Naheen Aaoongi”, a book of Reminiscences and Short Stories in Hindi. The award carries a cash of Rs one lakh and a citation.
Maansi Sharma happens to be the daughter of renowned Hindi writer of J&K, Suteekshan Kumar Anandam and wife of Vivek Sharma, renowned cricketer of the State.
She has been working as Senior Assistant Professor in Government College of Education, Canal Road, Jammu. She has been the editor of weekly literary magazine ‘Chanderbhaga Samvad’ for almost 9 years before joining the Department of Education of J&K Government. Her other works include ‘Musibton Ka Pahad (1987) and Kaise Sudhren Koun Sudhare (2002).
