JAMMU, Dec 24: M.C Khalsa College of Education here today organised a one day seminar under the patronage of Dr. Madhu Singh, College Principal.
Prof. Rajeev Rattan Sharma, Director College Development Council and Dean Faculty of Education, University of Jammu was chief guest while Subah Mehta, Joint Director, Directorate of School Education, Jammu was guest of honour.
The programme started with welcome address by Dr. Madhu Singh.
The seminar was held on theme ‘Structure, Curricula & Pedagogies According to NEP-2020 at various Stages of School Education.’
The key note address was presented by Dr. Madhu Singh.
Prof. Rajeev Rattan emphasised that the whole teacher Education curriculum has to be refreshed in the light of recommendation of NEP-2020.
The first Session was chaired by Sudhir Singh- Joint Secretary, JKBOSE.
The second Session was chaired by Subah Mehta- Joint Director (JSK), Directorate of School Education who stressed on practical learning and thinking.
In third Session Rakhi Attri- Sr. Academic Officer, State Council of Education Research & Training focused on the role of SCERT at Middle level.
The fourth Session was chaired by Dr. Alka Sharma who emphasized on the importance of NEP-2020 during this era.
The seminar was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Madhu Singh.
