JAMMU, Apr 2: Former MLA and National Conference (NC) leader, Bimla Luthra today demanded immediate roll back of National Food Security Act (NFSA).
The former MLA criticized the previous BJP-PDP Government for implementing NFSA, describing it as anti poor.
She said that the rationees have been left to fend for themselves due to inept policy of the previous Government. “NFSA is needed to be rolled back and the previous mechanism continued in the larger interest of rationees”, she said while addressing the workers at Sallhar Kothey in RS Pura this morning.
Luthra also assailed the unholy alliance of PDP-BJP for causing innumerable miseries to the people of the State by mis-governance and political gimmickry. She said the reactionary politics of PDP and BJP in not a good omen for the State, which has all along tried to divide the people for their petty politics.
