JAMMU, Dec 3: Bimla Luthra, state vice president women wing and Satwant Kour Dogra, provincial president women wing of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) today started campaigning of its party candidate, Tresham Khullar for upcoming District Development Council (DDC) election in Bishnah constituency.
While addressing the meeting at Harsa Dabber, Bimla Luthra said that NC is committed to uphold the secular ethos in J&K UT. She urged the workers to work untidily to frustrate the evil design of BJP which is bent upon to disintegrate the society, region and the J&K UT.
Provincial president women wing, Dogra said that the party’s main agenda is to work for the unemployed youth. The present Government led by BJP in the Centre is unable to reach out to the people. “The people of Jammu region are feeling neglected and deceived. It is our duty to highlight their day-to-day problems faced by them and work for awareness of the masses,” she added.
Om Parkash Thapa, Bharti Devi, Raman Panch were also present during the meeting.
