LPGEF to organize rally on Apr 29

JAMMU, Apr 16: To pay tributes to May Day martyrs, All J&K Low Paid Government Employees Federation (LPGEF) is going to organizing massive march and rally on April 29.
The rally will be organised to highlight demands including release of 10 per cent DA installment from January 2014 in cash, 4th annuals installment of 6th CPC arrears, merger of 50 per cent DA in basic pay/ pension, enhancement in medical allowance to Rs 1000, enhancement in retirement age to 60 years, minimum daily wage to Rs 300, remuneration/ honorarium to village guards, numberdars, ReT teachers, education volunteers besides many other demands.
President of the association Abdul Majid Khan will lead the procession and also address the gathering.
General secretary of the association Om Parkash Sharma said that the reports pouring in from various tehsil and district units reveled that activists are making brisk campaign to muster enmass participation of employees in the programme.
