LPG consumers being harassed on name of verification: JD (S)

JAMMU, Oct 16: Janta Dal (Secular) expressed serious concern over harassment of consumers of LPG cylinders by the dealers on the name of verification.
In a press statement, State working president, JD (S), Sardar Kuldeep Singh, demanded inquiry and action against the dealers, who directly or indirectly are busy in making money by selling LPG cylinders in black, He maintained that the genuine customers have been harassing on the name of verification.
He also expressed grave concern over the mis-use of Government vehicles by Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand, besides other Ministers and Legislatures, and demanded immediate inquiry and appropriate action against the accused Ministers.
The State working president alleged that on one hand the Government claims paucity of funds to release arrears to Government employees and at the same time it increases allowances to Ministers and legislatures, which is unjust, demanding withholding of any payment to legislatures till arrears of the employees are released.
