LPEF highlights demands

UDHAMPUR, Jan 16: Low Paid Employees Federation (LPEF) today held a meeting here under the chairmanship of Luder Mani and highlighted their demands.
A large number of employees and pensioners participated in the meeting and demanded the Government to release 10% DA installment from July 1, 2013 in respect of State employees and pensioners, raise retirement age from 58 to 60 years and regularize daily wagers working in various departments, who have completed 7 years of service.
The meeting also demanded enhancement of medical allowance to Rs 1000, release of 3rd installment arrears of 6th Pay Commission in favour of pensioners and 2nd and 3rd installment to Safai Karamcharis.
The participants also stressed for considering village chowkidars as Class IV employees.
