He said party is holding public meetings and rallies in different parts of Valley and people in large numbers are participating in these rallies, which is an indication that the party will form the next Government in the UT.
He said thousands of people in Kashmir are with BJP while hundreds are joining the party in the rallies and public meetings as they are fed up with the other parties which ruled the erstwhile State over the years.
The people of Kashmir have taken the BJP flag in their hands which indicates that lotus will bloom every where in the UT and this is the indication that the next CM in the UT will be of BJP.
Raina said Shopian district of South Kashmir was in the grip of terrorism for 35 years and the terrorists created a lot of devastation and destruction in this belt of Valley. But the situation is now returning fast to normalcy and the bad times are over now.
Highlighting the mission of his party he said, BJP is committed to serve the poor and weaker sections of the society as well as those who were deprived over the years. “Our party is for Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas and we are for betterment and welfare of all people alike including Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Christians”, he added.
He said Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has taken all people along and his Government is working as per the expectations of the people of the country.
Reiterating the BJP’s and Modi Government’s commitment to restore the statehood to J&K, Raina said this has also been reiterated by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister, Amit Shah during their meeting with political leaders of J&K at New Delhi last month in which 14 prominent leaders of political parties took part.
The rally was also addressed by party general secretary (org), Ashok Kaul who highlighted the party programmes and policies and urged the people to take the public welfare steps taken by Modi Government to every nook and corner of the Valley.
