JAMMU, Sept 4: Lok Manch Jammu has urged the people belonging to all religions and regions to unite to get their rights and work to establish a system in which the power lies with common masses.
“This type of system can be establish only after a big revolution which not only restricts to cities and towns but also spread in villages,” said a handout issued by Lok Manch Jammu. It said that people need to unite irrespective of their religion and conduct ‘Lok Sansad’ time to time wherein they can discuss problems and issues of their day to day lives and take decision on them.
The handout reads that the objectives of the Lok Manch Jammu are to work for getting recognized the right of living as fundamental right, to create a society in which the difference between earnings of the rich and poor is not beyond five times, to work for rights of women, to fight for free education to all the children up to University level, to work for making reforms in election system, make the elected representatives accountable for fulfilling their election promises, etc.
