JTC, SKF continue protest

JAMMU, Sept 4: The Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) continued their protest for the 337th day at Jagti today.
The protestors accused the Government of maintaining a stoic silence on the demands of the displaced Kashmiri Pandits.
Addressing the protesters, Shadi Lal Pandita president JTC and SKF said the displaced Pandits especially relief holders are meeting complete injustice through the hands of Government.
He demanded immediate enhancement of cash relief to Rs 25,000 per family besides settlement of other demands including a job package of 20,000 new jobs with 5000 class fourth posts, release of compensation for damaged properties over the turmoil period, loans to over aged youth of the community and rehabilitation of community in three satellite townships in Valley.
Among others present were Raj Kumar Tickoo, Ravinder Koul, M L Razdan, Kamal Ji Pandita, Rakesh Tickoo, Shuban Ji Raina, Vinod Moza, Ram Krishan, Raj Kumar Bhat, Satish Pandita, Vijay Bakshi, etc.
