JAMMU, Mar 21: The Government today ordered appointment of senior IPS officer Hemant Kumar Lohia as Commandant General, Home Guards/Civil Defence/State Disaster Response Force J&K against an available vacancy.
Lohia, who was awaiting adjustment at Police Headquarters on his return from Central deputation, will relieve Danesh Rana, ADGP, of additional charge of the post.
