Lockdown: Auto Operators demand Govt help

JAMMU, May 3: In the ongoing nationwide lockdown, All Jammu Auto Operators Association has demanded some help from the Government.
In a handout Ajay Bhat, Association General Secretary appealed to the Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu that drivers of Auto Rickshaws are staying at their homes due to the lockdown and are earning nothing which has put them to face the problem of feeding their families.
He urged upon the authorities concerned that auto drivers should be given compensation so that they can feed their families in this tough time.
Shanti Swaroop Gupta, S. Rajinder Singh, Vijay Kumar Merhra, Ashwani Kumar and others also demanded the same.
