POONCH, Nov 28: In surprise raids conducted at Qazi Morha and Police Line area of Poonch town, the Legal Metrology Department under the supervision of Assistant Controller, Kewal Krishan, today booked steel welders, restaurant owners and other unscrupulous traders found indulging in unfair trade practices.
Through dummy customers, other traders such as karyana and sweet shops were also raided and some erring traders were booked for mal-practices. The team compounded several cases and realized a sum of Rs 15000 as composition sum.
