KATHUA, Feb 26: Bani police seized 13 bottles of illicit liquor from a vehicle and also arrested the driver of the vehicle in this connection.
As per reports a team of Police Station (PS) Bani under the supervision of Inspector, Rahul Mahajan during naka checking noticed a suspicious vehicle bearing registration number, JK08G-9983 which was being driven by Atul Dogra, son of Dwarka Parshad of Basohli district, Kathua.
During checking13 bottles of illicit liquor was recovered from his possession. Meanwhile, accused was arrested and the liquor was seized.
A case vide FIR No 06/2021 U/s 48 (a) Excise Act was registered at PS Bani and further investigation of the case is going on.
