LEH, Jan 21: A delegation from Lingshed led by Sarpanch Dorjey Namgyal called on Lieutenant Governor, RK Mathur here at Raj Niwas on Saturday.
As per a statement, Dorjey Namgyal raised several issues pertaining to the Panchayat Halqa with the Lieutenant Governor viz. permission for carrying out administrative activities of community development block of Singge-Lalok from Lingshed instead of Khaltsi, early completion of the Padum-Nimoo-Darcha road via Lingshed to improve connectivity, opening of a branch of a leading bank at Lingshed, building infrastructure for Government High School and hostel at Lingshed besides renovation and blacktopping of the existing motorable road from Sumdha to Lingshed.
The press statement said that the LG gave a patient hearing to the visiting delegation and assured to address their issues on priority.
