Life disrupted for 44th day in Kashmir

Srinagar, Sept 17: The normal life remained disrupted for 44th day today in Kashmir with schools and business establishments closed in the Valley and traffic was off the roads.
The markets continued to remain closed and public transport was off the roads. The attendance in Government offices remained thin.
The schools remained open across the Valley but the students failed to turn up as parents are unwilling to send their wards.
The mobile telephone services and internet including broadband services remained suspended since August 5.
