Library opened in Guru Ravi Dass Sabha complex

JAMMU, June 4: Shri Guru Ravi Dass Sabha Bahu Fort, Jammu organised opening ceremony of Savitri Bai Phule Library in the premises of Shri Guru Ravi Dass Mandir Bahu Fort,  here today.
The inauguration of  the library  was performed by Shri Shri 108 Swami Gurdeep Giri Ji Maharaj, from Dera Swami Jagat Giri Pathankot.
While addressing the gathering Gurdeep Giri Ji Maharaj told about the importance of education and role of  library for  career building of youths.  He said the youth must take benefit of this  library.  He also referred    to the teachings of Guru Ravi Dass ji Maharaj.
Khushi Thapa,  Samridhi Basson, Shubham Basson, Visharad  Kalsi, Shaksham  Basson, Peehu Langeh threw light on the life and mission of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule, EV  Ramaswami Naicker, Mata Ramabhai, K Jranti-Jyoti Savitribai Phule, Dr BR  Ambedkar. These students were honoured on the  occasion.
Sham Lal Basson, general secretary  of the Sabha said that this Library will be of great importance,  specially,  for youths. Besides competitive books, books of academic importance, this library has literature on life and mission of Bharat Rattan Baba Saheb Dr BR Ambedkar,   Mata Ramabai, Kranti Jyoti Mata Savitribai Phule, EV Ramaswami  and other important personalities.
Sunita Bangotra, president Savitribai Phule Mahila Sangathan and Principal Savitribai Phule Modern school also spoke on this occasion. She said that  Mrs Phule  was first lady teacher of this country. She faced many hardships to achieve this goal. She is rightly called mother of social reforms.
Dr Vijay Shivgotra,  president Shri Guru Ravi Dass Sabha Bahu Fort, Jammu extended Vote of thanks and told about the benefits of library.  Raj Kumar Kalsi,  Kesar Singh, Vijay Lochan, CL Banal, Prof Kali Dass,  SM  Jangral, Tara Chand Sambyal,  Natha Ram,  Ranjit Kumar,  Sudershan, Des Raj, Paras Ram Angral, Sham Kalsi and others also spoke on the occasion.
