JAMMU, June 4: Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta said today that Kashmiri people especially youths were being exploited by the Hurriyat Conference and separatists and this has become clear with surfacing of a video today in which a youth could be seen targeting the Hurriyat leaders.
In a brief media inter-action, Gupta said the people of Kashmir should understand that the Hurriyat Conference was not on the right track.
“The video showing a youth blaming the Hurriyat Conference leaders for the miseries has exposed the separatists,” he said, adding the true face of separatists has come out in the video.
Describing Pakistan as a “coward nation”, Gupta said it won’t mend its ways and added that security forces were capable of giving it a befitting reply.
On ceasefire, the Deputy Chief Minister said the Indian security forces won’t violate it but once fired upon they would give very effective reply.
